Sculpting Mountains from foam panels (Forced Perspective distant range for O-scale)

Here are some recent scenes from the John Armstrong design that I had worked on. It was his last design. This is an O-scale model railroad were I was hired to construct the initial scenery and details. It is around 3500 square feet with two levels of operating model railroad. Other artists added some of the shrubbery and structures, I created the "geology", the mountains, rockwork, castings, carved foam, sifted dirt and rocks and riverbeds and roads. However, I did my share of planted hundreds of trees. (O-scale)
