A very happy client! Jerry Franklin operating his model railroad in O-gauge.

A very happy client! Jerry Franklin operating his model railroad in O-gauge. Today I helped Jerry clean up his "Train Room" so that it is prepared and ready for his operating session this coming weekend. I cleaned the upper On30 track and it tested out perfect.

Rushing Water Under the Bridge

I am working in Portland this week on Jerry Zaret's O-scale model railroad. These are images of some smalls falls that flow under a large trestle. Much of the "white" will disappear once it is dry but we will add some white froth to it later. Tomorrow we put a clear coat of clear resin over the entire river and falls to give it a shiny gloss "wet" look. I will post that when it is done. We are both also working on creating some really neat power poles which we will string with guitar string for a super realist look, and glass beads for insulators. I will post images of that project as well when it is done.

Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum Magazine 2014

Yay, I finished laying out this years annual HISTORY magazine in only three drafts. Its full of awesome information from the past, some of it the not to distant past. All the authors are great people who have done many wonderful things in their lives and are now sharing their discoveries, memories and information for us to know and embellish our lives today. Thank you Gloria for being one of the best editors I've worked with.
